An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein

Funhouse Lounge presents An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein.

Welcome to the darkly comic world of Shel Silverstein, a world where nothing is as it seems and where the most innocent conversation can turn menacing in an instant. The ten imaginative plays in this collection range widely in content, but the style is unmistakable. So treat yourself to this delightfully deviant and depraved walk through the oddball mind of Shel Silverstein.

Clue, an Unscripted Mystery

All 6 of our victim’s house-guests has reason had a reason to commit the crime–but which one actually did it?

Inspired by the classic board game and movie, the talented Funhouse Lounge Improvisers create this comedic mystery on the spot, based on audience suggestions and only the player randomly assigned as the killer knows the truth.

Come match wits with our hapless inspector and help catch the killer!

Dates and showtime: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, June 8th-July 1st

Doors 6:30 / show 7:00

Reservoir Dolls

Ms. Pink. Ms. Blonde. Ms. Orange. Ms. Blue. Ms. Brown. Ms. White. Jo Cabot. Nice Gal Edie.

After their big jewel heist goes terribly wrong, this colorful collection of thieves tries to figure out what happened. Is one of them a rat? Yelling, name-calling, gun-pointing, dancing, crying, torture and shooting will surely follow.

Tarantino’s cult classic, reimagined for the stage by Erika Soerensen. Featuring an all-female crew of murderous, desperate thieves. This girl power reboot is bloody good fun. All this, and you’ll learn the true meaning behind Madonna’s “Like a Virgin”.

Hughes-ical: The Musical!

Do you love the quirky teen romance/dramas of the 80s, like Sixteen Candles or The Breakfast Club? Then fire up your flux capacitor and step back to an era where a kid could sing on a parade float while cutting school, a geek could make out with the prom queen, and two nerds with a computer could create a girl out of thin air who’s way smarter than they are.
This show is, like, totally unscripted, created based on audience suggestions, and performed as a musical.
Featuring improvised music by keyboardist Matt Insley—and improvised lyrics and choreography by the cast—this show creates a brand new story and a brand new totally tubular soundtrack every night.
